About Us
SQUIDS Theatrical Inc. (The Southeast Queensland Independent Dramatic and Musical Society Incorporated) is a ‘not-for-profit’ performing arts organisation that delivers entertainment to the greater southeast region of Queensland.
As a member of the performing arts industry we are mainly engaged in providing or producing live theatrical, dramatic and musical presentations or performances to the communities ofSoutheast Queensland. We add value to this industry by contributing the development of performing arts talent within SEQ communities.
Our mission is to provide a platform upon which members can develop their performing arts talents to give back to their communities. The Society fosters learning and supports emerging young talent as the future performing artists of tomorrow.
Based in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, we bring together professional and non-professional actors, singers, musicians, dancers to work with professional directors, producers, stage managers and sound and lighting technicians to develop and deliver quality performing arts productions.
Workshops are an integral part of what we do to enhance the diversity of roles that make theatrics a must, whether it be on stage or behind the scenes.
